The Diaper Dilemma

What's incredibly stinky, super tall, and very high maintenance? Wyatt's diaper pail!

Have you ever heard of a newborn wearing size 3 diapers? Poor Wyatt! Size 1 looked like a bad advertisement for men's bikini brief underwear. The nurses were using the newborn size on his foot to help heat it up for the tons of times he needed to give blood.

And now, at almost 5 months, he is wearing size 4-5. Diapers only go up to a size 6 for babies! Plus, as all you moms and dads know, there is fewer in a pack as the sizes get bigger and the price gets higher. Yikes! Will Wyatt need "Depends" when he is 1 1/2 years old?????

Well, I'm not sure what Wyatt and I are going to do...

That's so funny! Like the kind ads that make you want to rush your kids past the Men's section at Target really fast.

Hoping today's a good day for little Wyatt. =)

Can you use cloth? It's not as much of a hassle as it sounds. Our oldest did great with cloth -- the only diaper rash that he ever got was when we switched to disposable for a 3 week trip. His younger brother, though, had to use disposable.

Below is what we bought. It looks like they've added more to what they sell since ours were babies, but this is the model that we used and loved (we actually bo't most of ours off of ebay, but we did buy their sample packet first). We didn't like the All-In-Ones. We had more diaper blow-outs with those. The elastic on the snuggleups is just so much snugger (is that a word?). If you're out and about running errands, you just fold the dirty diaper in on itself and put it in a plastic bag and deal with it when you get home . . .
